In 1962, at a time when information technology in Spain was practically nonexistent, MútuaTerrassa developed a data processing service. This activity came about because of the need to automate MútuaTerrassa’s processes. A few years down the line in 1975 it would give rise to Egarmatic.

Egarmatic offers support in information technology and systems to the companies comprising MútuaTerrassa. Technology support for these activities is based on Unix, Linux and Windows servers and uses relational databases.
