Focused Ultrasound (FUS) is a safe and effective treatment method that can increase the survival rate of non-operable pancreas cancer, according to a study recently published in the British journal, Ultrasonics Sonochemistry, and carried out by Dr. Joan Vidal-Jové, head of the HIFU programme of Surgical Oncology at MútuaTerrassa University Hospital, and his team.
