3rd Conference on Primary Care and Nephrology

Next Friday, November 23, the Chronic Renal Disease Commission of the Mútua Terrassa University Hospital and the Terrassa Health Consortium will hold the 3rd edition of the Primary Care and Nephrology Day. The day will begin at 8.45am, in the MútuaTerrassa room of the MútuaTerrassa Teaching Building.
This day is aimed at primary care physicians, as well as resident doctors. The purpose is to provide elements to primary care physicians so that they can improve the treatment of this pathology.

II conference of maternal medical pathology during pregnancy
Sala MútuaTerrassa Edifici Docent - Sant Antoni, 39 - Terrassa - Scientific eventsThe management of pregnant women with preexisting medical pathology is often a challenge for the professionals who care for these patients. It requires the participation of interdisciplinary teams and the coordination of actions by the different specialties that participate.
The complexity of management is determined by the possible decompensation of the disease as a consequence of the changes that take place during pregnancy, by the effect that the disease can have on the pregnancy and the fetus, as well as the risk of side effects and teratogenicity with the use of drugs.
On the other hand, interdisciplinary work is a challenge in daily clinical practice requiring coordination, joint protocols and constant dialogue among all team members. We often work in watertight compartments, and without sufficient coordination so that the results are optimal.
The day wants to establish a space for dialogue between obstetric and medical specialty professionals to update current knowledge and seek collaboration strategies to improve care for pregnant women with medical conditions.

The Ets Cycle to Know More ends this month with a conference focused on assisted reproduction

It will be pronounced by Dr. Francesc Fàbregas, gynecologist of Àptima Centro Clínico and will take place at 6pm at the Culture House of Sant Cugat del Vallès.
