    The Digestive service of the HUMT prepares an accreditation workshop for the Intestinal Inflammatory Disease Units

    Next Friday, May 18, the service of the Digestive Device of HUMT has organized a workshop with the purpose of explaining the requirements that must be met in order to have an Intestinal Inflammatory Bowel Disease Unit (EII) accredited. This initiative was born as a result of the various requests received from professionals from other centers interested in knowing the particularities of this certification process.

    Countdown to the celebration of the XXIV MútuaTerrassa Nursing Prize

    Next Thursday, May 17 will be held the 24th edition of the MútuaTerrassa Nursing Prize, it has managed to gather a total of 24 works (3 more than last year). This year has been organized under the theme "Film nurses, Portrait of the profession?", With the will to assess and discuss whether or not the representation that is made of nursing from the media, film or audiovisual industry corresponds to reality or tends to a biased and stereotyped view of the profession.

    Update in digestive pathology. VI edition

    Next Friday, May 11, the Digestive System Service of the MutuaTerrassa University Hospital will celebrate the sixth edition of Digestive Pathology update, which this year will focus on the practical management of frequent digestive syndromes. The day will begin at 8 a.m. in the Mútua Terrassa room of the Mútua Terrassa Teaching Building.

    This day is aimed at primary care physicians, as well as nursing professionals and first-year resident physicians. The purpose is to update the knowledge about the pathologies of the digestive system that most often involve consultations in the field of Primary Care and emergency services.

    Food: how to avoid overweight and prevent diseases

    Next Thursday, April 26 , at 6:00 pm in the MútuaTerrassa teaching building, a new edition of Dijous de Mútua will be held under the title: " Food: how to avoid overweight and prevent diseases ", which will be led by Dr. M. José Barahona, head of the endocrinology service and Mrs. Montse Ibarra, nurse coordinator dietitian-nutritionist MútuaTerrassa.

    This is the first conference to be held within the 2018 cycle.

    The conferences are free and do not require prior confirmation.

    All ready for the first edition of this year's course on Autism Diagnostic Observational Schedule

    As in past editions, the organization will be in charge of the Child and Juvenile Psychiatry Unit of HUMT and Dr. Amaia Hervás, psychiatrist and coordinator of the unit, will be in charge of directing it. It will take place on May 2, 3 and 4.



    Dr. Hervás is a national and international reference in the training in these tools for the diagnosis of ASD and accredited trainer in the diagnostic interview ADOS by Cornell University New York (USA) and the University of London - New Castle (UK) (Prof. A. LeCouteur and Prof. M. Rutter).
