    Advanced Workshop in Sacral Root Neurostimulation

    This advanced workshop will take place next Thursday, November 15th , and is mainly aimed at surgeons with an initial experience in sacred neuromodulation who want to delve into issues such as the therapeutic approach in the most complex indications such as the lower anterior resection syndrome or neurological patients, how to deal with the incidences of follow-up and advanced learning in terms of electrical programming. Attendees have the obligation to provide their own clinical case that will be discussed in a specific space of the Workshop.

    "The thousand days of gold of the infant": central axis of the XIV day on pediatric update

    Next October 30, the pediatric service of the MutuaTerrassa University Hospital (HUMT) will hold -in the auditorium of the teaching building- the fourteenth day of update in the pediatric area, this year under the title "the thousand days of gold lactating. "


    The session will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the official inauguration, which will include Dr. Rosa Asbert, medical director of the Mútua Terrassa Health Care Service, Dr. Roger García, Head of Pediatrics at HUMT, Dr. Alicia Mirada and Dr. Marta Garcia, adjuncts of the same service and Mrs. Pilar Morales, supervisor of Nursing of the Mother and Child Area of ​​the Care Service Area of ​​MútuaTerrassa.

    III Course of surgical exploration of the mediastinum

    This course is especially addressed to thoracic surgeons in training (R4 and R5) and young adjuncts, who will be able to acquire knowledge in relation to the most relevant and novel aspects of the surgical exploration of the mediastinum for the staging of lung cancer.


    The training will be taught in two days, structured in three sessions:

    • • Conferences of theoretical content
    • • Clinical case sessions
    • • Assistance in the operating room, where live interventions will be displayed.
